A Quiet Retreat in Blueberry Hill

The Nest is an elevated ground-floor corner condo in Greyhawk, located in Whistler’s peaceful Blueberry Hill neighbourhood. The home is all on one level, with an oversized patio, a front entrance and a separate sliding-door entrance at the back. Windows on two sides offer views across the Whistler Golf Course to the mountains, gondola and ski runs beyond.

The communal hot tub is visible from the condo, so you can check whether it’s available before heading over. The hot tub, sauna and games room with pool table are all just steps from your door.

With two large bedrooms and room for up to six guests, The Nest is an inviting retreat for families, couples, ski getaways, summer golf trips or longer stays. There’s plenty of room to settle in and relax, with two decks, a cozy double-sided fireplace and abundant natural light throughout the day.

Its bright, ground-floor corner location is one of the things that makes The Nest so special. There’s no need to take an elevator to reach the front door, and the gated parkade is just down the stairs. The Valley Trail is a short stroll from the condo, while Whistler Village is only a three-minute drive away.

The Space

1,410 square feet, all on one level

Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and generous shared rooms that open onto the decks. Here is how it lays out.

The master bedroom with a king bed, a mirrored closet, a small writing desk, and patio doors opening to a mountain view.

Master bedroom

A king bed, a four-piece ensuite, and plenty of storage. A door opens straight onto the patio, so this room gets the morning light first.

The second bedroom with a queen bed in a wood frame, a full louvered closet, and framed wildlife prints.

Second bedroom

A queen bed and a full closet, with the second full bathroom just outside in the hallway. A comfortable, private room for the second couple or the kids.

The living room with a deep sectional sofa and an armchair, wrapped by windows that frame the mountains, with patio doors to one side.

Living room

A deep sectional sofa gathered around a double-sided gas fireplace, a 65-inch wall-mounted smart TV, and its own set of patio doors. The sofa also opens into a queen sofa bed at night, with a small Murphy bed as well — a privacy curtain can draw across to give that corner a room of its own after dark.

The dining and family room off the kitchen, with a large table, a double-sided gas fireplace, and a cushioned window seat under a wide window framing the mountains.

Dining & family room

Off the kitchen, this is the big gathering space — a table for long dinners and a cushioned window seat tucked under the window. It is the spot for a morning coffee with the mountains in view, or a book in the afternoon.

The kitchen with white cabinetry, a new stainless induction stove, an over-range microwave, and long stretches of counter and cupboard space.

Kitchen

Recently updated with a new induction stove and microwave, the kitchen offers plenty of counter and cupboard space for preparing meals for a full house. An adjacent deck with a BBQ makes outdoor grilling easy.

One of the two decks, set with a bistro table and string lights, looking out through evergreens to the mountains.

Decks & patio

Two decks and an expansive patio wrap the corner of the unit, facing out over the golf course. The communal hot tub sits just below the patio, at the base of the building. Mountain views run from nearly every window inside.

A guest review

“We’ve been renting around and this was THE BEST! We loved the unit which was super spacious, the view was decadent, the amenities within the unit didn’t miss a beat, the service was impeccable, access to the hot tub was splendid, seriously, can’t say enough and would invite anyone to rent this place at anytime of the year. We were there for a whole month and wish we’d still be there!!! Hope you enjoy your time there as much as we did…thank you so much!!!”
